Registration has been brisk for our March One-Day seminar at Lake Blackshear in Cordele on Friday, March 25th. This is the first in-person GAAO seminar of the year! We are especially excited to bring a one-day seminar to our Southwest District for the first time in several years.
We have a great slate of presenters and presentations with something for everyone. Cal Evans joins us from Synovus to present on current Commercial Market Trends. Gregg Reese and Tracy Thomas from Gap Group will present on recent WinGap changes. There will also be an industry panel, covering a wide-range of topics, which offers the membership the opportunity to discuss relevant, present matters effecting our offices. Panelist include Alexander Adcock (Gwinnett), Lisa Bryant (Lowndes), Scott Roundtree (Richmond), Tawanda Shivers, PPS (Gwinnett), a Department of Revenue Agent to be named later and to be announced. As always, we’ll have a Department of Revenue update and an up-to-date Legislative Update built into our program..
Registration is $100 ($155 for non-members) for this one-day event at the Lake Blackshear Resort & Golf Club. Lunch & a morning break will be provided with registration. To register, click on this link to the registration form. Attendees will receive 5-hours of Continuing Education Credit from the DOR. The Resort has blocked out several rooms for attendees. The GAAO room rate is available for Thursday Night and runs into the weekend. We look forward to a great event and seeing you at Lake Blackshear!
